This girl likes to walk! Thankfully we didn’t take her stroller on our trip as it would have gone unused.

Whether it was steps,

Or trails,

Or boardwalks,

Or curbs,

Miah wanted to be on her own two feet.

She likes to walk at home, too. We just have to check her feet before we go.

We had such a wonderful day at this park in Utah.

I always love seeing God’s natural beauty around us, and this place was spectacular.

Thankfully, we got an early start, so we did most of our hiking before it got hot.

It was a great way to spend Sabbath.

Miah had a grand time walking everywhere instead of being stuck in her car seat.

When I see these canyons and rock formations I wonder what it would be like to go back in time and see how the Great flood of the Old Testament carved everything out. I’ve always been fascinated with geology.

At least I didn’t bring home any rocks like I used to do when I was a kid. I think Miah brought a couple home, though.

One last picture in Wyoming.

One of our stops in Colorado was visiting friends in Colorado Springs. We enjoyed some R&R and Miah enjoyed her time with LeighAnna.

“Look, it’s a bird!”

Garden of the Gods is an amazing place to visit.

Until next time . . .

We saw a lot of animals on our trip, not just in Yellowstone, but as we drove through seven states.

Miah was fascinated with them.

Some demand more respect than others.

This fisherman seemed a little nervous as the elk passed rather closely.

Warren did catch larger fish, but isn’t this one pretty?

We had resident moose in one campground.

The antelope were everywhere.

We also saw bighorn sheep and coyotes, but no bears. It was a thrill to hear the wolves howl on our first night in Montana.

“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31

Here’s our little “Indian” enjoying the wilds of Yellowstone.

Hanging out while Daddy was fly fishing.

Viewing the lower falls.

Excited to see the “hot water”.

Gotta have a closer look.

Very pleased to “Help” Daddy fly fish.

We’re home and had a great trip. Miah did very well for having to spend so much time in her car seat. We all enjoyed spending time in God’s awesome nature.
(More of our trip to come later.)
