The Many Faces of “Mimi”
Miah calls herself “Mimi”. Whenever she sees herself in the mirror or in a photo she says, “Mimi.”

Miah likes playing with her stuffed animals and dolls, but Monkey is definitely her favorite.
And yes, “Five Little Monkeys” is a favorite book.
Giving her buddy a ride on her new tricycle.
Miah finds it entertaining to sit on her animals.
I guess she’s planning on cooking these two for dinner.
Here’s today’s visitor. Now that winter is over, we don’t see the deer and coyotes as much. I enjoy the variety of birds we have. But I hope this critter was just passing through; he looks like mischief.
We woke up to snow this morning after a cold day yesterday.
(Yesterday / Today)
Warren says our February temperatures in April are due to Al Gore visiting our state a while back. Wherever he goes, cold temperatures seem to follow. How ironic.
We’re praying that this cold snap will not wipe out the valley’s fruit crops. Cherries are in full bloom right now. Even if the cold itself doesn’t do too much damage, the bees aren’t very active when it is cold and windy.
When people talk about Global Warming (which I think is more propoganda for governmental control than it is about the environment – there are as many scientists who dispute it as those who endorse it). I am reminded of what God says in Job. Although I would agree that the increasing population is affecting the earth to some degree, I think it’s rather egotistical of us to think we can change the climate which has gone through warming and cooling cycles for centuries and millennia.
Here are some verses from Job 38.
4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. 5 Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? 6 What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone 7 as the morning stars sang together and all the angels[a] shouted for joy?
8 “Who kept the sea inside its boundaries as it burst from the womb, 9 and as I clothed it with clouds and wrapped it in thick darkness? 10 For I locked it behind barred gates, limiting its shores. 11 I said, ‘This far and no farther will you come. Here your proud waves must stop!’ . . . . . .
31 “Can you direct the movement of the stars— binding the cluster of the Pleiades or loosening the cords of Orion? 32 Can you direct the sequence of the seasons or guide the Bear with her cubs across the heavens? 33 Do you know the laws of the universe? Can you use them to regulate the earth?
34 “Can you shout to the clouds and make it rain? 35 Can you make lightning appear and cause it to strike as you direct? 36 Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind? 37 Who is wise enough to count all the clouds? Who can tilt the water jars of heaven 38 when the parched ground is dry and the soil has hardened into clods?
You can read the rest here.
I am comforted to know that my God is in control of the universe.
Miah was thrilled to see cousin Kian again. She just adores babies.
When I held him, she immediately came over, not out of jealousy, she just wanted to be close to him.
The stare down, and the admiration.
What a cutie! He is 8 months old.
Checking out the fingers,
and the toes.
Miah climbed right up to sit beside him.
